About
me

Born in Coorg, often referred to as the Switzerland of South India, Nature has been an innate part of me. Nature, a synonym for creativity, encompasses within itself the entire cosmos, making it immensely vast; which I believe is what my personality relates to. The unknown has always titillated me, as I consider the unknown to be a possibility and a possibility an opportunity. Down the line I see myself as a Designer, a thinker and a Social being open for change, for challenges, for life.

Design Intern and Apparel Designer, Aranya Natural, Munnar

January 2018 to June 2018 ( six months)

 

Aranya Natural is a Natural Dyeing unit located in Munnar, Kerala, india. My project here was mainly on launching an  Apparel range , exploring surface and dyeing techniques, teaching garment construction, Pattern making and hand stitching to the artisans , brand development and designing and monitoring apparel collections from inception to final stage.

Design Intern, Madura Fashion and Lifestyle, Peter England

​September 2017 to October 2017 ( two months)

 

My work here was mainly focused on building a concept for their 2018 Autumn Winter collection. The work included branding, concept building and also laying a creative foundation for the entire season.

 

Design Intern, Charaka, Heggodu, Shimoga

May 2016 to July 2016 (two months)​

 

Charaka, is an organisation which focuses on Natural dyeing and providing employment for the rural women of Heggodu, Shimoga. My work here was to revamp their existing apparel collection.​

Textile Designer, Ekaya - Banaras

February 2019 to May 2019

 

Ekaya is brand based out of Varanasi , India working on handwoven traditional Banarasi weaves. My work here was to conceptualize a collection for them for AW 19 and also to make artworks for the same.
