This entire collection is 100% hand stitched and hand made.
THE STORY
The dark was calm; a silent night
Curtains closed, but still at sight;
Quarter to six and he peeps in,
Touching my lashes, I’m warm within.
I feel my fingers, out of the blanket,
Reaching for the table, my glasses set;
Wrinkle eyed, I open the spread,
Deep Blue I see, like an ocean bed.
A golden lining below its belt,
Shining through, as the clouds appear;
Scattered fragments throughout the sky,
Like ripples in the water, low and high;
With fading blue, and widening belt,
Orange smiles, with dimples of yellow;
As they touch the garden, twinkling leaves;
The morning dew, the night heaves.
At a distance, now I see,
A glowing ball, at birthing spree;
With every minute, he spreads his reach
Lighting the sky, the days preach.
He births high, and now shines bright,
A look at him, I’m out of sight;
The spread is white, blue hints around,
Yellow on my head, and on the ground.
As the prayer ends, his reach goes down,
Blushing sky, act of a clown;
Flying birds reach their nest,
The leaves bow down, time to rest.
My eyes still open, but dark I see,
He fades away, drowning in the sea;
The curtains close, but still at sight,
Now the moon, shining bright
THE MOOD
