BESEECHING THE SHRINE WITHIN
Since birth one is identified with a gender, which determines one's role in the society and binds one with do's and dont's. But, the soul is a shrine, a temple of how one feels with the body as their medium. This unisex collection is an attempt to celebrate and worship one's soul, without any boundaries, any barriers, pure and untouched.
Surface techniques of tie and dye and clamp resist have been used to represent the barriers and turmoils and also the bliss when one breaks out from them.
